You are invited to join myself and Zoe at Field of Roses for an absolute dream workshop on November 7th and 8th 2026. Many years ago, before I began working with flowers Zoe was one of a small few from around the world that inspired me. Her flowers helped me to trust my vision of how I could create my own style of flowers. And that there was a place for them, that people were longing for a more natural seasonal approach to flowers. Zoe continues to be an inspiration, and it is a long held dream to collaborate with her. And now it is coming true, and in the very peak of the first flush of roses! There could not be anything better or more wished for.

Before I go further, a note that the initial payment is for your deposit only. Full details are below, and a quick summary at the the end.

I have a feeling you will already understand how very special this is, a collaboration that brings the very best of garden flowers in THE perfect moment of the flower season. And in a dream location, with Zoe who I am certain you know has led the way for many other flower lovers here in New Zealand. Truly this will be magic.

These workshop days are to dedicate yourself to nurturing your creativity. To allow inspiration to flow, to feel supported and guided into allowing the joy of flowers to flow into you. They are about bringing together the most inspiring flowers and people, immersing ourselves in the creativity that will come from this magical gathering. All that is required for this workshop is a love of flowers, no previous experience is needed. It is designed for all levels of experience, we will be devoting as much personal time with each guest as is possible.

This is a full two day workshop, held at the Field of Roses near Gisborne. A dream location, with dream flowers! On the Saturday morning you will arrive to the most sumptuous selection of flowers prepared for you to gather your palette from. First though, we will explore the magic of November in the field. Honestly it will be peak romance and softness, and we will be encouraged to pick a few special stems to add to what is already prepared. Imagine such beauty surrounding us!

We will then immerse ourselves in making the most sumptous vase arrangements, beginning with my demonstration. I (and you) will have the most divine selection of flowers to work with, even for me this will be something incredibly special! However, this will also be focused on also showing you how I create vase arrangements using less if needed. Not that we will need to for this. The same principles apply, so you will be able to take what you learn and know how to continue on with your practice later. After my demonstration, you will create your own sumptuous vase arrangement with flowers that can not help but inspire you. And I will be close by offering as much or as little guidance as you wish for. This day also includes a beautiful shared lunch, gathered together in our new friendship.

Sunday brings day two and learning the art of making hand tied bouquets with Zoe. She will demonstrate how to create the most romantic soft flowers ever, the ones that we all dream of. Those that inspire us all, with roses and treasures of this peak moment in the season. Zoe will show us how she creates shape, movement and layers of detail in her bouquets. She will guide us with how she chooses her palette, what she is looking for in forms and colours. Then after a delicious shared lunch you will craft your own dream rose bouquet while being gently encouraged and guided. The flowers you make will be photographed throughout the weekend, and edited high resolution photos will be shared with you later. These will be yours to keep, purely for the joy, or for your portfolio or social media too.

The workshop weekend is NZ$975pp total, with an initial (non refundable) deposit of NZ$400pp to reserve your place. The remainder will be invoiced a month before. The workshop includes two full days of tuition, the most dreamy flowers, a handcrafted ceramic vase made especially for guests of this workshop, a kenzan flower pin and other mechanics. It also includes meals and refreshments, and beautiful photos to keep and treasure. You will leave with a full heart, a heavenly hand tied bouquet, a glorious vase arrangement, and memories of precious time with new flower friends! And the knowledge of how to continue on with the inspiration that has flowed into you.

Your ticket does not include accomodation (or air fares) however we are very happy to recommend a couple of nearby spots. Tickets are not refundable, however if you are unable to attend you are most welcome to gift your ticket to a friend. If we have a waitlist we would of course do our best to help too. If we do not have a waitlist we will not be able to refund your deposit. Travel insurance is recommended.

The workshop is limited to no more than 10 guests, to allow for individual attention, guidance, and feedback (as much or little as you wish). If in the unlikely event that this workshop does not have enough numbers, or an unforeseen event should happen that prevents it going ahead, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Tickets will be available on Tuesday 21st July 2026 at 7pm here on my website.

Cost: NZ$975pp.

A $400pp non refundable deposit is to reserve your place. A month before the workshop you will be invoiced for the balance of $575. Please note this website listing is for your deposit payment only, not the full amount.

We both are so looking forward to this dreamy weekend, meeting you and making magic together! Please do contact myself or Zoe if you have any questions at all. My email is hello@katherineenglishflora.co.nz

With our warmest wishes,
