WORKSHOPS & PERSONAL CLASSES
You are warmly invited to join me for a day of learning about how I arrange flowers. With my guidance, you will learn how to see and arrange flowers with an artists eye, bringing more beauty and joy into your home and life. My way is about knowing what type of flowers to select, how to gather an exquisite colour palette, the movement of stems to look for when picking, and the way and order that the flowers are placed.

Guests of workshops and classes come to learn how to arrange flowers, and while doing so, discover how nourishing it is to create in this way. They learn about how and where I source flowers, and what to look for when they are picking. We work with flowers that are from wonderful local growers, snippets from my garden, and there are always wonderful stems that I have foraged for the beautiful movement and textures that are a part of my style. I love how every visitor says that their eyes have been opened to seeing more possibility, in what is available around them.
All classes are perfect for what ever experience you have, whether you are someone who just loves flowers or perhaps you have a lovely garden to enjoy picking from. All flowers and materials are provided, and you will leave with flowers & vase, inspiration, and having had time to really step into another world for a few hours. I always take a little time to take photographs of your beautiful flowers. After the day you will have photos of your flowers in the loveliest light, to treasure the memory, as well as those you take home with you.
personalised FLOWER CLASSES
For a day of learning that is especially for you, whether a beginner or experienced, gardeners, growers, or florists wishing to explore a new style. Together we will tailor your day of flowers to what most interests you. This could be a full or half day, it could be making a bouquet or arrangement, or often it is both! My way of arranging is about knowing which type of flowers to select, how to gather an exquisite colour palette, the movement of stems to look for when picking, and the way and order that the flowers are placed.
Classes with Katherine English Flora are tailored to what you wish to learn about. Bouquets, vase arrangements, styling and photography, what to plant in a cutting garden or exploring foraging. I help you learn in a way that is kind, gentle, nurturing, and encouraging. There will always be abundant full buckets and vases of seasonal local flowers to arrange with.

I have dates set aside in my diary most weeks through the growing season (OCT-APRIL) for personal 1:1 lessons. These days are tailored to each guest. After you have contacted me we will chat, for us to plan your perfect day.
A half day of 3 hours is $350 and a full day of 5.5 hours is $500. This includes tuition, abundant flowers, often a vase, a delicious lunch or afternoon tea, and a beautiful photos of our day.

SEASONAL GROUP WORKSHOPS
All you need is a love of flowers, a desire to explore your creativity, and to be nourished. The beauty of my style comes from natural movement, and is a celebration of garden grown flowers. The flowers are always sustainably grown, and are from local growers, my own garden and foraged stems for those magical details. They are always what is special about the time and place in the season and are beautifully abundant. Workshops are such a joyful day, always bringing together a gorgeous gathering of those who wish to nurture their creativity and hearts. We come to together to immerse ourselves in flowers, learn, create and be beautifully inspired.
Early booking is recommended as places are limited for all workshops, because I really want to be able to give as much time as I can to each of you.
