My heart sings when I have the chance to bring roses and dahlias together, and this glorious celebration of both made me oh so happy! Two of my absolute favourite dahlias are showing off, Peaches which always reminds me of a silly but fabulous 1950s hat, and Strawberries and Cream. I adore the blending of colour, the overall effect is a soft pink, and coral and raspberry give it depth too. But what I think makes it all come alive are the darling tendrils of hops, and the sumptuous roses. Details of quail eggs and leather-bound antique books to offset the softness beautifully. I see it as a tumble of romance with an edge of wild abandon!

This image has a particular significance for me. I entered it in the New Zealand Amateur Photography Awards, and had to pinch myself when it was awarded Highly Commended.

This fine art print is a very limited edition of only 5 in each of the two sizes. All are printed on the finest quality paper with archival pigments, further details of this are below. Truly the quality is exceptional, the colours and details are utterly breathtaking!
